A Porcelain Veneer is a very thin piece of beautiful porcelain that can be glued to the front of a tooth to correct or hide chipped tooth, stained teeth, misaligned teeth, worn teeth, etc. Dental veneers are the best solutions to create ideal beautiful smiles. There are two basic types of veneers in the industry, composite veneers, and dental porcelain veneers. In your second appointment, your cosmetic dentist will prepare the teeth in a way that the lab can create the most beautiful teeth possible. Sometimes this can mean lightly reshaping the teeth and sometimes it involves a little more depending on where you start and where you want to finish with your smile.

In your third visit or probably the final visit, the dentist will apply the veneers on your teeth surface. Before placing the veneers permanently on your tooth surface the dentist check for proper fit and get your approval of the veneer that was designed. Finally, the dentist will apply a special type of cement on your tooth to place the veneers over it.
